oops! I plead jet-lag. I actually intended to put Spicer model 25 not 75, but
even that would have been wrong- Spicer 25 is the front axle for WWII jeeps.
I didn't have any references handy and I was typing when I should have been
sleeping, I can't remember everything ! Nice catch though, Todd. I would hate
to have passed on the wrong info. In any case, Stu if you don't already know
it you should learn to visually differentiate between the two types. Many
times I've been called to look at a "WWII jeep" and the first thing I've
noticed is that damn CJ type capped axle which has blown the cover of many an
imposter.
