No, my fluids wern't all bad, they were non-existant. Both my oil-pan gasket
and my trans. drain plug decided to give way at about the same time,
resulting in a total system falure. The amazing thing is how the trans.
lasted so many miles with NO fluid in it at all! I later found the offending
AWOL drain plug in my friends drive-way and deduced that it had jumped ship
over 800 miles before the trans. started protesting the abuse! Geez, I do so
love military vehicles, they were built to take the pounding from fools like
me.
Oh yeah, I had also snapped ANOTHER universal, not an axle.
