Okay M38 buffs!!
A guy at work told me of a neighbor of his who has an
M38 (not A1) for sale. I went and looked at it, and the body
is in really good shape. It came from TX, and I don't see
and rust anywhere.
Anyway, it's been civilianized somewhat. It has CJ
wheels, civvy seats, and is painted this god-awful yellow!
Not sure about the engine or tranny, if they are original or
not. (Of all things, the spare tire carrier is still there, and
the spare is an original non-directional mil-spec tire and
rim.)
To comply with the TX law, it had a license plate light
attached to the "tailgate", but other than that, thats the
only addition that I could see. I'm not sure if the suspension
has been monkeyed with or not, as I'm not sure what is
supposed to be (or not be) there. It's now 12V system.
Anyway, what would be a reasonable price for such a
condition?

Any help appreciated.
