I am going to have my tub sandblasted soon. I will also have to weld some sheet
metal into rusted areas and repair some welds that have deteriorated over
time. I am in the process of pricing portable welders. Does anyone know if a
stick welder is better or a wire feed? I have limited welding experience and
am not sure which one to buy. I have only used stick before for larger jobs
never on fine metal like a jeep tub. Also, what thickness sheet metal should
I use?
Any advice would be appreciated.
F.Y.I.- The thing taking up my garage is actually starting to look like a JEEP.
