Mike,
1208 program applies to law enforcement only. However, if the law enforcement
agency gets a veh, they can loan it to the fire dept, especially if it will
support police activities. Just don't sell it or strip parts to sell. Contact
the Reutilization Office of the DRMO at your nearest military base for info,
or contact your local police agencies to see if they are signed up. There are
also similar programs for fire dept. screening.
