Actually the hole is there to be able to drive the pin in which holds the
center post the can. But the only other remotely accessable place to get
oil pressure is to tap into the 1/8" line that feeds the govenor. Looked
easier to me to tap into the filter can. 1/8" Nylon tube seems to work just
fine, just keep it clear of the exhaust system! I had the gage hidden in the
back so I could see it by squating down and looking in between the air
filter and the engine. However, I'm going to move it up front one of these
days.

I generally don't bother trying to find parts locally as Leonard Grove has
most everything (including the air inlet caps!) and prices are usually
reasonable.
