Reading Tony Standefer's mail on how parts get mixed up over the years,
I came to think of a problem I have with my GPW, produced
August/September '44.

On the right hand side, the cast iron clamp around the top bow (the
clamp which has the winged bolt through it) is too tight. This makes it
a small h... to slide the bow for getting the top up and down.

Any ideas from you guys on the reason for this (mix-up of Ford/Willys
parts, local production of top bow.......)?
