Oil pressure readings should be unaffected by length if the instrument
and tubing are properly installed. If you have bled all air from them, then
the changes should be immediate. Since a liquid cannont be
compressed, the pressure will be consistent throughout the length of the
tubing. If you are seeing a long lag or fluctuating pressures when the
engine is running at a steady RPM, you likley have some air in the line.
