Status: In current production. The metal cans are being phased out.
Plastic cans are available for gasoline, diesel, water, and kerosene (or
avgas).

> -where can I buy them new?

Try C.S. Coleman @ 717-692-4444 (8 AM - 5 PM EST). They are listed in the
catalog as being available in either black or desert tan. The kerosene
(avgas) cans are blue.

> -who makes them?
The current low-bidder, of course.

> -what is the general opinion of them?
I have used them for stand-by fuel for gensets. They are not as heavy as the
metal cans. Plus, they don't rust, so they can stay outside in the weather a
bit longer. If you are restoring a "modern" military vehicle, they are
standard equipment.

Hope this helps.
