I attempted to get this ball rolling a number of months ago, but sadly
received little response.

No need to use the past tense here. It is possible to make the archives searchable now.

There is an archive of the list, but I have not updated the material for
several months due to hardware constraints. I recently picked up a 3GB drive,
and am now working on moving the server to it. The now-old archive is at
<http://www.skylee.com/archives/mil-veh/index.html>.

Actually, that is a link to the above archive.

I have a "glimpse" server running here now, which is an indexing/searching
server that specifically supports access to material via the web. Once I move
the archive to the larger drive, I will bring the archive up-to-date and make
it searchable.
