The M35 Reo Deuce and a half's should not be too difficult to find. Keep in
mind that they initially came with a Reo OA331 gas-powered inline 6 cylinder
engine, but were re-powered with mulitfuel diesel engines in the 1960's. The
multifuel engines were the Continental multifuel diesel LDS-427(turbo-charged
427 inline 6) and LDS-465(normally aspirated 478 inline 6). I would
recommend looking for a Reo with one of the multifuel engines. Also, some of
the Reo's had neat things like PTO winches, fording kits, and heaters which
would obviously be neat accessories to have.

<< I am beginning my quest for a M35 6X6.
Does anyone have any strategies or starting points?
Are there Govt. auctions.??
Who is the best reseller?
I am more interested in the newest/low mile/ models than classic or
collectable configs.
thanks
