<< My college roommate who is now in the AF recently had a camo uniform
hanging up in his house. Currently, the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force
all wear the same pattern uniform, though each service has different styles
and colors of insignia. I think the camo uniform is current issue to all
AF personnel, but I don't know how many of them wear it as a daily duty
uniform.

Each of the services generally issue uniforms on the same basis.
Each of the services has three basic types of uniforms;

Dress-

Service-

Utility.-
Utilities are considered "work" uniforms and include Navy Dungarees, and the
Camoflage field uniform worn by all the services. Known to the Army and Air
Force as BDUs, and to the Navy and Marine Corps as Utilities or "utes". Each
of the services now issues a branch of service name tape to be worn over the
left breast of the utility coat.
There are also special purpose uniforms such as Fire Fighting uniforms and
the like.
Lastly, to ensure that this posting has something to do with military
vehicles I will take a moment to remind all of you that Army jeeps are cool.
