Check out your local radiator shops, most but not all will boil the tank out.
After that is done you should seal the tank with some sort of epoxy. A
friend reccommended using a product from a company in Kansas City called gas
tank sealer. The part number is 23-698 and costs 17.95 per quart. He swears
by it and says that he can do several tanks with one quart. Personnally
haven't tried it so can't offer a reply. I personally have used liquid epoxy
which is a two part mixture, poured it in, sloshed it around and let it cure.
Fuel won't touch it once it is set up. My friend claims the same of the
above mentioned product. I don't have the company name but the phone number
is 816-741-8029. Let me know how it turns out. Regards, John
