I recieved this reply to my hood posting when I logged on this morning.
I know exactly why it was posted direct rather than to the list, I've
found myself doing the same to avoid the possibility of "getting creamed"
There must be loads of interesting stuff posted direct rather than to
the list for the same reason. Kind of defeats the object don't you think?

Back to the hoods, I would doubt that Willys lent Ford the dies ,and if
they did why is the channel section different? If Willys lent Ford the
dies to start with and then Ford made their own dies, do the later Ford
hoods have the dimples? Someone out there must know the full story.
