While getting ready to replace the orginal troop seats on my '51 M37 truck I
noticed that there a series of holes on the left front troop seats. This set
me to wondering if a radio mount was installed there. The truck has the
antennae installed next to it on the side along with the power supply cable
on the front bed wall. There are also two holes in the bed side wall below
the troop seats. Is this a M42 command truck? There is no data plate
indicating this. The tail gate appears to be standard without the table as
illustrated in TM 9-8030. If these are radio mounting holes which set would
probably have been installed?
Any thoughts from you M37 experts? Thanks in advance for you help.
