Seen so many really rusty bead locks in British DUKW tyres (usually 12
ply Dunlop Roadsters) that I went straight to flaps and tubes I'm
afraid. Getting 18" flaps isnt easy either but well worth it. never
heard of Goat tyre failures on a DUKW but then we are using them with a
lot less loading than the Army used to. Gordon 8-)
