[MV] Info wanted on Canadian vehicles

I am looking for information on a Canadian pattern truck.

My father has two 1954 Canadian service ambulance trucks, inline 6 cyl gas
engines, van style body with a sliding door between the cab and cargo area,
plate says 3/4 ton, and they have split 16 or 16.5" wheels.

I would appreciate any info I can get on these trucks. Also if anyone is
interested in buying them please feel free to contact me directly and I'll
answer any questions I can.
