[MV] Fuel pumps for CCKW and MB/GPW interchangable?

We need to replace the fuel pump on our CCKW-353 (Artillery shop van
body), early type without the handle to manually operate the pump. We
were suggested to replace it with a pump for MB/GPW, as the GMC type is
hard to find. Can this be done (i.e. are they interchangable)? Tks for
yr help!
