A few years ago a friend of mine got some rims from the National Guard. He
was told that they we magnesium (mag wheels) and the Guard we suppose to
have gotten rid of them years ago. Some problem with burning pretty hot if
ingnited. I think they fit a M-151. I not familar with the M416 or what
years they we made. That my be a possibility but ALCOA sure sounds like
aluminum. This is all 2nd hand and I am not an expert in anything. Maybe
someone else knows more.
