My name is Keith George. I am a newbee to this list, but I have
been a member of the Jeep-L list for quite sometime now. I currently own
an 81 CJ7 loaded with to many off-road options to list.
I recently ran into a guy that has a M 151 Mutt for sale and I
was wondering what the value may be? All he has told me is that it is a
74 model (I think) and "it was a Navy Jeep so it is in good shape, not
beat up like those Army Jeeps." It is still in the original green color
too.
He wants to sale it because he and his wife just bought a 5.0
Mustang Convertible and they only need one convertible in the family.
I have always liked the old MV jeeps and the wife fell in love
with an old CJ3B she saw in Wichita Falls, TX. Is this a worth while
vehicle to have and if so what are the values like? I know the
description is lacking and to make an honest estimate of price a lot more
information would be needed. He has promised to e-mail me all the
information about the vehicle he has. At that time I will shoot out a
note to this list for a rough estimate of the vehicle.
