Three quick and simple questions:
1. My very early 1942 GPW windshield frame shows no evidence of ever
having a rifle rack... Would this be corect for a very early GPW?
2. The clamps screwed to the frame that hold the frame in the upright
position to the dash are heavy brass castings, whereas most I have seen a=
re
stamped steel affairs...again, what would be correct for the very early
GPW?
3. In theory (that is, without 50+ years accumulation of rust), can the
complete inner windshield frame with glass be slid apart from the outer
tubular frame by just pulling it out the drivers side? I seem to be havi=
ng
trouble getting the two assemblies apart.
Thanks in advance for the help.
