My best friend in Quincy High School in the early Eighties was Trent
Hemmings. I knew his father ran a small Model T and Aparts business in
Qu incy, IL. Later I found out it was his family that started Hemmings
Motor News, and later sold it. I could be wrong on it-but maybe his
grandfather started it. I didn't really know too much about Hemmings
Motor News at the time. His father is Ernest Hemmings, and perhaps his
grandfather is as well.
I believe he know works for Washington University Medical School as a
computer consultant. I spoke with him maybe a year and a half ago last.
I know he was very much into cars--but only new cars/Motor Trend
variety.
I just thought I would throw this one in--it's a small world--but I
wouldn;t want to paint it! Tim
