[MV] Stuck Brake Drums

I just had to remove two shoes on the M-38A1 I bought yesterday so I
could tow it home. The right front was completly frozen. After trying
the normal procedures I soaked it with WD-40 between the backing
plate and drum and where the drum and hub meet. I let it soak for
abot 30 minutes, then began tapping the three "knobs" that stick out
from the drum with a brass drift and hammer untill the drum could be
rotated for about an inch in each direction. I then tapped the drum
as far foward as it would go and inserted a small chisel through one
of the screw holes and tapped it so as to wedge it between the drum
and hub. I repeated this process, moving from hole to hole and was
able to move it out far enough to get a large screwdriver in and pry
it off.
Maybe not the best approach, just what worked for me.
