Hi Mick,
We are restoring GPW 71349 and it's stamped on 2 lines with the letters
centered over the numbers. I don't remember any stars but will check when I
get home. It has a script F on the crossmember like yours. We also have GPW
110xxx and that has the stars, is 1 line not 2 & has the crossmember F.
