Michael,
The GTB (Burma Jeep) was built by Ford and was the first all-military
designed truck in World War II. It was the only truck of this kind that
went into mass production and was usd by the Army and Navy in seveal
different forms. It was made as a cargo, bomb-service and wrecker. The
engine was a militarized version of a standard Ford Truck six-cylinder.
There were 6000 produced.
Usually the beds and the passenger sets are missing and are quit hard to
find. Many were used in the vinyards in California after the war.
