Just wanted to add that with the oil test I mentioned in my previous
e-mail, it helps if you can avoid getting oil on the valves. Try to
squirt the oil directly onto the tops of the pistons and let it soak for
about a minute before doing the test. This test is a little better
suited for OHV engines, since the valves are in the top of the
combustion chamber and they won't get much as much oil on them.
