Your 302 must be cranking about 3400-3600 rpm at 60 Mph, what kind of Mpg=

do you get with the truck, or have you never checked. According the the
nameplates on the MV I'm considering it says the top governed speed is 34=

rpm. =

I'm thinking about pursuing a diesel MV 2 1/2 ton truck just to get bette=
r
Mpg. If a truck gets 4 mpg on the road, I'm not going to be driving it
much. Any thoughts on that?

XM211 for the past 6 years, I really can't complain. I does seen a little=

underpowered on heavy acceleration and hills but, on level ground, It hol=

its speed pretty good. It also helps to have a transmission that's in goo=

shape and that all the wheels roll good. I.E. no dragging brakes or bad
bearings. I have several time had my XM211 up to 60mph on flat, level
ground, empty.
