Dear Phil,

believe it or not, there was no German armor in WW2 with
diesel engines, only some prototypes.

The only diesel powered vehicles which really saw service
were trucks with 3 and 4.5 tons payload.

All the tanks and the halftracks, from the little Kettenkrad
to the brute 18 ton monster halftrack tank wrecker had petrol
(gas) engines.
