Seems like your question got hijacked into a racism/political
correctness debate!

There is at least 3 Japanese MV's in private hands in Australia.
1 x Type 95 Light Tank
1 x Artillery Tractor
1 x Type 97 Medium ( but when I opened the hatch and discovered that
the fighting compartment is totally lined out with 50 year old
deteriorating Asbestos blanketing I backed off real quick and lost
interest)

In government hands I think there is another 2 x Type 95's.

I am told there is one or 2 Japanese armoured MV's in the US in the
hands of "ghost" collectors (the type that shun publicity and are not
on Mil-Veh-list).

A tankette recently sold here and went to England.

Doug
