There is one of these Jeeps in Newport Rhode Island. Its is in unrestored
condition,with about 45,000 miles.Does not run.It was a one owner jeep(GPW)
converted by the Holden Company in Australia and reissued in the
Pacific.Purchesed
in Hawaii after the war by a Navy veteran in 1946 and followed him home to New
Hampshire then to Rhode Island. Vehicle has a GPW Ser.# and the passanger side
storage box was removed by the army before the sale. I don't believe that it
is forsale.
