I read in All American Wonder that the original oil filter actually =
prevented proper lubrication of the first cylinder. It was recommended =
that the oil filter was removed and the oil line was plugged with a =
steel ball from a ball bearing. The engine would still look the same. =20

Does anyone have any experience on this subject?
