[MV] Mexico, military Harleys and Pancho Villa

A book by David Ansell tells about how Gen. Pershing went after the
infamous Pancho Villa in the spring of 1916. This marked the first U. S.
campaign that employed any formal use of motor vehicles in combat. He
states that Pershing used a mixture of trucks, cars and motorcycles (
HD, Indian & Exl.).

Although the mission was unsuccessful, Harley Davidson used the event to
trump up sales in their advertising.

Has anyone seen any reprints of this sort of advertising? How about a
source for any military motorcycle literature/war propaganda?

Thanks. David Cron
