I found registering my M151A2 to be easy. I went to the smog referee, he
issued a sticker with the smog info (he had a reference), then a local gas
station checked and issued a certificate (not needed any more, the mutt is
a 1970). When I went to register an M100 trailer, there was no record of
it on the DMV computer, and no serial number to be found on the trailer.
All I had to do was pull it into the DMV inspection lane, a guy came out
and verified he couldn't find a serial number then placed a metallic tag on
the trailer with a new CA ID number. Issued the tags and off I went. All in
all took about 40 minutes.

Does the
interactive Computer (in CA the smog test requires a central computer in
Sacramento to monitor the test a compare the results to particular
parameters for each make/model/year vehicle)?
have the parameters for Mil-Vehs ?Anyone else have any experience/advice on
this? Scott
