The horn rod for the M-38 is one piece and goes down to the horn switch
in the bottom of the sterring column. The end of the rod must go threw a
small hole to activate the switch. On top of the rod at the horn button
there should be a round flat piece about the size of a nickle that sets
under the rubber horn button. Clean the switch real good and it may
still work.
