I am a newbee to collecting military vehicles . I have been collecting
W.W.II uniforms and weapons , and now I have taken a step forward. I
have bought a Dodge 3/4 ton WC-51 truck that needs a lot of
restoration.

Here in Spain you can still see a lot of them that are being bought from
old army stocks by metal scrappers and torn into small pieces. Last
week I saw one that was in a relatively good shape and I could not cope
with the idea that it would be destroyed and bought it . The mechanical
part (engine, electric system) will be restored by expert hands, but I
would like to do the body restoration myself.

The problem is I literally don't know where to start. I don't know how
to get my hands on the truck.
I have several questions:
1. Are there books dealing with the restoration of vehicles that you
experts recommend me ?
2. Besides the Technical manuals of the Dodge WC-51, are there books
about this vehicle (or about Dodge W.W.II vehicles) that you think are
worth having, and that can help me in my restoration project? If so, can
you tell me the name and publisher?

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
