and if it doesn't, and you have to wire this, the easy way is to jumper the
back of the light switch with a 12 v "driving lights" type relay. you might
have to put a resistor in to drop the "throw" voltage down to 12, but the
relay itself will handle more than enough current.
the way this works is when the ignition is on, it trips the relay, which in
turn closes the connection across the light switch.. you should easily be
able to do it without damaging any original parts.
