I want to pass along the following if anyone has any interest/use for the=
se
things.
Now that I actually got one I have been shopping for parts for my M37. I=
found a small shop
in Kenosha WI (30 miles South of MKE) Wallys 4X4. Wally has a two M37s
collecting rust in the yard. 1 Red x fire department w/winch mostly
compete but needs rehab appears to be able to run. Second one was green
appears to need more rehab, the "iron moths" were busy on this one. Did n=
ot
have a chance to ask $. I had to go and Wally was on the phone. He also
has a Mark 1 ferret hull with what seems be most of the parts somewhat
attached. The open turret was protected by an old Willys hood to keep mo=
st
of the elements out but the interior was pretty trashed. He has a bunch =
of
other stuff also. If it is any indication of prices he was at current
market rate for headlights. Call if you have any interest. (414)
552-8330.
Second at the little odd place in our area, American Science and Surplus,=
the Milwaukee store has an NIB Panther Tank optics unit. Complete (or so=
it seemed) The wonderful data sheet (in German) seemed to give instructio=
ns
on what to do with this dude. This guy is about 5-6 feet long, white,
weighs a ton. Zeiss optics stamped all over it. Ready for this one?..
Price 25 HUGE ones(not big ones) that's $25K ! =
The pubesent clerks had no clue about it so if anyone is interested I
suggest you call during the week (414) 541-7777 or 1-800-934-0722 this
number goes to their Chicago store ordering desk. Web site
www.sciplus.com. Have fun.
If anyone knows about this optics unit let me know if this is rare odd or=
even a good price.
Hope it helps,
Regards.
