This past winter I made a gasket for the sending unit on the top of the
gas tank using the gasket material that comes on a roll and is sold by
the foot. It's the stuff that looks like heavy card board. It comes in
diferent thicknesses. It worked well and doesn't leak. Good luck Lyle
