The Rambler/AMC 199/232/258 cid sixes were first produced in 1963 as I recall.
They changed little things over the years and again as I recall they had a
bellhousing mounting change in the 70's for there are 2 distinct engine series
from a casting/mounting point of view.

It is a very good engine and was supposedly designed by Hercules. It has 7 main
bearings.
