Also, is there a separate wiring diagram for the radio filterette under
the dash on a 1943 GPW? My second body tub (June '43) had a "kit" also
mounted under the passenger side with a 3/4" pipe running parallel to the
dash and then disappearing under the Jeep floor. I have yet to see any
wiring diagram for this filterette as well. I do know I have seen these
(the last one discribed) N.O.S. at Willy's Minneapolis. Also, this past
Sunday I took my GPW runner out around one of our 10,000 lakes and while
driving with windshield down find a pick-up towing a trailer with the
just the cab of what looked to be either a CCKW or 1 1/2 ton Chevy. It
was painted orange and looked to be in reasonably solid condition. My
mind wandered for a moment and wondered if the vehicle I was driving ever
sat in the same motor pool with that truckand to think that after all
these years they would be back on the road. I hope I am not the only one
who wonders like this!?!
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Sincerely,
Wally Piroyan
1943 GPW
