For cold days:
Full choke. Press the gas pedal all the way inn 3-4 times (this makes
the
accelerator pump in the carburator to inject some fuel in the manifold).
Hand
throttle about 1/4"-1/2 " out. As soon as the engine fires, push choke
inn so that
engine runs smoothly (usually about halfway in). Adjust throttle to idle
speed.

warm days:
We never have REALLY warm days inn Norway... but use less choke as the
temperature increases, I use about choke about halfway out even on
summer
days. Throttle the same.

Also for easier starting, make sure all electrical connections from
battery to starter, ground
and ignition coil are clean and thight. Use cables of proper thickness.
Check your
spark plugs and spark plug wires and connectors.
