The truck is located at Pateros, Washington.
The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Bid opening will be Monday, June 8, 1998, 7:30 p.m. at the Pateros City Hall."
I have seen the truck, but not close-up. The tank has been removed, so it is a chassis & cab only rig. There is a hard top. It is painted yellow. There does not appear to be any rust. All 10 tires look good, but the spare is bad. A friend of mine who is a professional mechanic and a member of the volunteer fire department says the truck is in good shape.
I am not interested in bidding because of a lack of space and cash. I wanted to let the list know so maybe this truck can be preserved.
