You heat up the metal, then get the edge of the heated area (closest to
the remaining straight stuff) straight, then work round the dent in a
circle towards the centre. Heating the metal allows it to go straight
without stretching and springing again. Apparently this is highly
effective but takes a lot of practice. Given the thick sheet metal
used on most MVs it should work well.
