It would be nice to be able to have one of these gizzmo's on my
Ferret, but I think adapting something would be just too impractical.
Oh, well.

The Ferret manual is very explicit about the "Gear Change Pedal" not
being a clutch and that it should not be referred to as a clutch pedal.
Somehow I think they were fighting a loosing battle. Why they didn't
intall an automatic in the first place is a mystery to me.
