I just spent about six hours last weekend completely replacing the brake
system on my M37. After spending 25 minutes on the first set of shoes, a
buddy of mine came over and showed me a trick. Take the adjusting nuts off
the bottom of the brake shoe, then pull the bottom part of the brake shoe off
first. Then pull the top part out of the wheel cylinder and wallah! you have
them apart.
