My 151A1 has dot 5. I replaced the military silicone when there was a bad
batch of contaminated military fluid. Breaks work great. Military used
silicone because it picks up less moisture then regular stuff. Military
vehicles sit alot and pick up water in the brake system. Be sure to flush
out all old silicone when replacing. They also say you must change the
rubber parts when going from silicone to dot 3 or 4(for higher temps like
racing cars). Only 5 & 6 are silicone. Dot 6 for racing. Dot 5 is
compatible with military silicone systems.
