I am dusting off one of my M715 projects this summer and want to add power
steering and brakes. Last year we had quite a bit of discussions about these
modifications one the list but I would like to hear from anyone that has done
it on their trucks.

DUAL-WELL MASTER CYLINDER/BOOSTER CONVERSIONS:
The info I have from Jeff @ Front-Line MV's is that a power brake m/c-booster
off the Gladiator/Wagoneer from 1969 thru 1973 will work, so long as it is for
a vehicle equipped with DRUM BRAKES ONLY. I have examined the factory parts
manual for the Gladiators of the mid-1960's and they are all listed as single
well master cylinders with and external hydro-vac unit mounted on the left
front fender.

Have any of you found another dual-well master cylinder that will work on the
M715 with NO cutting/drilling modifications??

POWER STEERING CONVERSIONS:
A couple of years ago I spoke with a man who said that a power steering unit
from a late model GM CAR (not truck) would work. Anyone have any info on a
bolt-in power steering conversion??

HARD TOP'S FOR THE M715
I have seen some fiberglass hardtops for the M715, including a very nice one
shown on the M715 pictured on the cover of the 1997 MV Magazine calendar (and
in the Feb-1996 Calendar as well). Anyone know who makes this one? Other
suppliers I have found for fiberglass hardtops include Winer Motors
(apparently they dont have them anymore) and Hafer's Inc in Salt Lake City
(price around $700!!) Memphis Equipment makes a metal hardtop for the M715
which is very expensive, but looks pretty good. Up here in the Pacific NW, a
hardtop is a must for a "user" truck. Anyone know of any other suppliers of
hardtops out there??
