Federal taxes on a privately owned machine gun is a ONE TIME ONLY $200.00.
The $1000.00 per year is to be a Class III dealer. I know lots of folks who
have paid the $200.00 transfer fee one time, and never another dime. Most
states have no other fees either. I guess living in the People's Republic of
Kansas is a different story.
