I have been to "Ft. Tomlin" and seen the M3 Lee tank youa re talking about.
If he is planning on using the tank just to have, then it is okay. If he is
planning on showing the tank at shows, then it will need some work. The upper
armor of the tank is made of styrofoam and plywood. It looks good from a
distance, but up close, it needs some work. The tank is in good shape on the
inside. Mechanically, it runs strong. I think Jack has extra parts for it.
Overall, it is a pretty good start on restoring a tank. For the price (under
$20000), you can't beat it.
