I was also taught that split rims were very dangerous, and to put a long long
airline on the tire with the pressure off, and then stand at the other end of
the hose around the side of a building while I turned the pressure on. Does
that sound ok? I've done a couple for my M-37s so far, but realize I am just
a shade tree mech. opinions??
